I love my flash!

I recently attended a workshop here in CT with the Meetup group I have joined. Wow, who would have thought that by using a simple reflector as a wall to bounce my on-camera flash from while outside, along with a handy little homemade diffuser (bye-bye Fong) could produce such lovely results. Our model, Stacie, was a delight to work with and gorgeous to photograph.

Mother's Day is on Sunday, May 9th this year. Give your Mom, Grandma, Sister the gift of a mini-photosession with her children and/or grandchildren that she will treasure for years to come.
I am scheduling 30 minute sessions at local parks or your own backyard here in CT. The flowers are blooming, so let's get outside!

Spring Ahead!!! Finally get blog up and running

Ok, so here it goes... again!  I tried to start one of these things almost one year ago to the date. I was a blogger drop-out.  But, I figured with spring just around the corner (fingers crossed) and day light savings having just begun (hooray) - I'd give this another go.  So with that said, I am going to get back to work updating my website : http://www.heatherellicottphotography.com/  Shameless plug going on here.  I promise myself I will work on keeping this going, so check back for any updates on life, photography, cycling and more.  ciao :)
